Tommy Lee Jones born September 15, 1946 is an American actor and director. He received four Oscar nominations, winning the award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of US Marshal Samuel Gerard in the 1993 thriller The Fugitive. His other lead roles include Texas Ranger Woodrow F. Call in the Lonesome Dove TV miniseries
