Naga Chaitanya Akkineni is an Indian actor known for his work at Telugu cinema. He made his debut in the 2009 film Josh, directed by newcomer Vasu Varma and produced by Dil Raju. Josh was a rude way. Before the release of his first film, he signed his second film with Indira Productions, directed by Gautham Menon. This film, Ye Maaya Chesave, with Samantha Akkineni, released in 2010, has been a critical and commercial success.
Chaitanya was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His parents are the actor and entrepreneur Akkineni Nagarjuna, the son of Akkineni actor Nageswara Rao and Lakshmi Daggubati, the daughter of producer D. Ramanaidu. His maternal uncle Daggubati Venkatesh and his cousins Rana Daggubati, Sumanth and Sushanth are also actors. Chaitanya’s parents divorced when he was a child. Both parents remarried later. While Nagarjuna married former actress Amala Mukherjee, Lakshmi married Sharath Vijayaraghavan, a senior executive at Sundaram Motors. Chaitanya has a half-brother Akhil Akkineni, born of his father and mother-in-law.
Chaitanya grew up in Chennai, where he was raised by his mother for 18 years. After completing her studies, Chaitanya returned to Hyderabad to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He expressed his desire to Nagarjuna to become an actor during his second year in college. He enrolled in a three-month acting class in Mumbai. He received ongoing training in performing arts and martial arts in Los Angeles, in addition to speaking and giving lessons in dialogue for a year before making his film debut.
After a schoolyard since November 2015, Chaitanya became engaged to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu on January 29, 2017. Chaitanya and Samantha linked to Goa, during a Hindu religious ceremony on October 6 and a Christian ceremony on October 7th. Both were private ceremonies, where only close friends and family were present. They are known as “ChaySam” by the public.
