Amar B Choudary was born on January 4, 1984, known by his stage name. Jiiva is an Indian actor, producer and philanthropist. He began his career in 1991 as a child actor in films produced by his father, R. B. Choudary. He made his debut as a lead actor in Aasai Aasaiyai (2003) and then received praise for his performance in the movie Raam (2005). After the legendary actor Sivaji Ganeshan, Jiiva is the only Tamil actor to win an international award at the Cyprus International Film Festival for the film Raam.
Jiiva was born in Chennai of R. B. Choudary and Mahjabeen. He is the youngest of the four; his brothers are Suresh Choudary, Jeevan Choudary and Jithan Ramesh Choudary. R. B. Choudary is a well-known independent film producer in South India (Super Good Films), which has been a launching pad for now-famous directors and actors.
Jiiva participated in the third season of the reality dance competition with STAR Vijay, Jodi Number One, alongside Sangeetha and Aishwarya Rajinikanth. He was also a judge at Astro’s Yuttha Medai All Stars finals in Malaysia.
